Unit Overview
This unit fits into a larger theme of careers, but will focus on awareness of and careers in the nonprofit sector. Students research a nonprofit organization, interview a representative from the nonprofit, and make a presentation or share information with others to promote the work of the nonprofit.
Service Experience
Students promote the work of a nonprofit in the community, communicate its needs, and encourage others to get involved as volunteers or by giving money.
