  1. Anticipatory Set:

Inspire the youth to share their learned message about kind acts and community collaboration with someone in the larger community. Talk about who would appreciate their message and what to record in a final video.

Listen to their ideas about what can be performed on the video. It should include the songs they practiced in the previous lessons, the reenactment of the book, the ABCs of giving, and any other information and inspiration they come up with. Encourage them to clean up and dress neatly on the recording days.

  2. Practice and record the performances.

Practice and record songs that the students have previously learned that would be happy, uplifting songs. Songs that have hand motions would be preferred.

  3. Decide as a group how to introduce and end the video. Select a spokesperson or a group to speak on the video, introducing songs and inviting the children to sing-a-long. Also, decide the order of the performances. Use video editing to put clips together with introductions and other slides.

  4. Share the video with audiences that will appreciate the sweetness and uplifting nature of kids' art and singing. Reflect with the children about how it feels to share their work to brighten the day of others.
