Students play a game that involves taking risks and watching out for others. They discuss their feelings in both roles and discuss the role of trust and responsibility in community.

Students trust another to take them for a blindfolded walk. They discuss what it feels like to be in each role. They discuss the role of trust in communication.

Students reflect on what symbols and words communicate who they are. They design a T-shirt that reflects their personality, thoughts, and ideas. This represents their role in a world or community they make better by their actions.

Youth Activity: Students brainstorm time, talent, and treasure examples that they have to offer/give. The activity will ask each person to think of some ways he/she can generate money.

Youth Activity; Students read about the philanthropy of Madam C.J. Walker, David Robinson, and Jason Crowe, and they begin to tell their own story.
