Unit Overview 

In these two lessons, learners define bullying behavior and identify its effects on the individuals involved and the larger community. They create a survey to collect and report on the perceived status of bullying at their school. They learn about the different roles people take in the cycle of bullying. The whole group carries out a plan to stop unjust treatment of their peers.

Service Experience 
The learners take action to speak up against unjust treatment of their peers.

Learners define bullying and identify the effects of bullying behavior on the individuals involved and the larger community. The learners create a survey or use another method to collect and report on the perceived status of bullying behavior at their school. They survey students, school staff, and families.
