Unit Overview

Learners construct meaning of the concept of responsibility through personal and shared discussion. With a social issue in mind, they compare how they feel about taking responsbility and not taking responsibility. They gain insight into differing perspectives by engaging in a debate about the most responsible action in a given scenario. Through writing, the learners share their insights into taking responsibility for the common good.

Service Experience
Learners look for opportunities to demonstrate responsibility to improve the relationships in their lives and communities.
