Unit Overview 

The learners examine their own eating, sleeping, and exercise habits. They compare them to national health standards, and develop plans for improving them. Then they share their learning to promote a healthier community.

Service Experience 
The learners share what they learn about healthy eating, rest, and exercise through an informational poster and by playing active games with younger youth.

Sleep, rest, mindfulness, and taking time away from busyness help our overall health and wellbeing. Participants learn about the importance of sleep and analyze their own rest and wellness patterns. They determine how they can improve their own rest and mindfulness and encourage others.
