Adaptation – the process of changing to fit new circumstances or conditions
Irrigation – to bring a water supply to a dry area especially to grow crops
Migration – the process of moving from one country or region to another
Desertification – the process, by which land becomes increasingly dry until almost no vegetation grows on it, making it a desert.
Aquifer – a layer of permeable rock, sand, or gravel through which groundwater flows, containing enough water to supply wells and springs
Cultural Landscape – the product of human interaction with nature, landscape created by people
Endangered Species - a group of animals or plants that are in danger or at risk of ceasing to exist.
Extinction - the ceasing to exist of all members of a plant or animal family.
