Explore the reasons for philanthropy education and find your role as a teacher in creating a sustainable message. Teaching philanthropy (private citizen action intended for the common good) is central to the mission of school, critical to the survival of our democracy, and supportive of good teachers.

Learning Objectives

The learner will:

  3. discuss the status of democracy and philanthropy education in the US and around the world.
