Module 11: Learning to Give—Philanthropy Education

Educators seem to have one thing in common—they want to make a difference in the lives of young people. Philanthropy education uses cognitive and affective methods of teaching to make a long-term difference in students' lives by introducing the concept of giving time, talent and treasure for the common good. The LEAGUE: Curriculum by Learning to Give has worked with classroom teachers to develop these resources that help educators to this end, and currently has over 1,200 easily-accessible lesson plans and materials available on the web. Making yourself familiar with the materials offered will help you develop a plan for bringing philanthropy education into your classroom. Start the module now.
