Community Service Examples

• Service Project: Bridge to Fort Campbell: Kentucky Country Day, Louisville, KY
  This service learning experience, provided by Kentucky Country Day School in Louisville, KY, exemplifies an experience that is current and connected to the challenges faced by the families of those who are serving in our armed forces. Given the circumstances which face the families of those who have left for service overseas, the students at KCD participate in a structured experience that connects them with the families living on or near Fort Campbell.
• St. Gabriel's Catholic School Service Projects (PK-8): St. Gabriel's Catholic School, Austin, TX
  The students and staff at St. Gabriel's, an independent, Catholic, private day school for grades Pre-Kindergarten through Eight, participate in service projects throughout the year. Some of the service projects are grade specific, some done by special groups such as the Honor Society or Latin Club, and some are school-wide service projects.
